A week after I start editing for the Medium publication Politically Speaking, I now discover that you have also been looking for editors. I do both types of writing and have experience with editing both. Had I known about your need, I would have had a hard time choosing from both opportunities. However, by now I've made a commitment and will keep it.

I wish you luck finding editors who understand the power of storytelling and the importance of showing rather than telling the reader--and can follow a style guide, of course. All that stuff we memoirists talk about.

Also, thank you for the term, "memoirist." Before reading your publication, I'd not considered using it to label myself. Now, when asked what I do as an avocation, I can say, "I'm a memoirist."
