Aha! I wondered if anybody would comment about senses. Thanks for doing so.

This was my first foray into the number of senses. They did all make sense (pun intended) to me, or the ones I reported did, anyway. Proprioception and kinanesthesia do seem close, though I'm not sure they're the same. Thermoception and nociception seem different in that you can have a feeling of hot or cold without pain even though extremes can be painful, and you can experience pain with any sensing of temperature or temperature change. They both can be touch, but they both can also be felt internally. which I don't think is touch.
