And they have so much much that they can do all that you say plus hoard equal amounts in offshore accounts (and now onshore accounts as well). Nobody needs that much wealth, and any decent human being with that much wealth would be happy to be taxed so that money could be spent mitigating the effects of climate change and providing for basic needs for people throughout our country.
