Thanks very much, Kat. So many people only comment to argue; its' nice to hear from you. Another person commented on people starving to death during the Great Depression, so there was that. But I don't know how often that happened, particularly since families almost always had kitchen gardens and most hobos could work for a day on a farm for food. People were hungry, yes, but so they are today, some of them.
