As long as it takes a 60-40 majority to get anything passed that benefits the people, and as long as the people continue to vote in so many Republicans that the Democrats can never have that 60-40 advantage, Democrats do NOT have control and cannot do much for the people. Unless they reinstate the simple majority rule, which they can do with a simple majority.

So you can blame the Democrats for not having reinstated the simple majority rule already (and hope that they do so soon). Or you can blame the people for voting in so many Republicans that nothing can get done until the 60-40 requirement is replaced with a simple majority rule.

No matter who is to blame, blaming is not helpful. What may be helpful is encouraging Biden and all the Democrats to get that simple majority rule reinstated--NOW!
