At the risk of getting some negative feedback about this, I'm gonna say: If these female artists--white and Black--WERE reclaiming their bodies and their sexuality, I'd be all for it. But it seems to be that what they're doing instead is serving as advertising for wigs, makeup, jewelry and clothing. I just don't think women need to make themselves into caricatures of themselves in order to be themselves.
