Biden’s State of the Union Speech: Only One Thing Missing
‘Just one more thing’ …
UPDATE: The subject of this article—the one thing missing in Biden’s speech—is currently the subject of much discussion on various media. Speaking personally and perhaps selfishly, darn! I should have published the article yesterday. Well, here it is, anyway.
President Biden’s State of the Union Speech yesterday was truthful, honest, vigorous, and sincere. Here are my favorite moments:
About the economy, jobs, wages, and inflation:
15 million new jobs in just three years… Unemployment at 50-year lows.… A record 16 million Americans are starting small businesses…. [H]istoric job growth and small business growth for Black, Hispanic, and Asian-Americans.… 800,000 new manufacturing jobs.… The racial wealth gap is the smallest it’s been in 20 years.… Wages keep going up and inflation keeps coming down…. Inflation has dropped from 9% to 3% — the lowest in the world!
