Far be it from me to even attempt to deciper the mess that is the war in Ukraine, but it did SEEM likely that such threats DID stop America from arming Ukraine to the fullest extent of our capacity to do so. We could have stopped Russia's aggression when it first started if we had immediately supplied Ukraine with every possible offensive and defensive weapon. I think it might even have been less expensive than the war has been by now.
