For me, Christmas Day is just like any other day--though I do try to have my house clean and the laundry done the day before. Perhaps this is depressing, but I'm old enough to have survived some truly depressing situations and am content now with a day just like any other day. I am glad you've found a way to be happy on what for you is not a day like any other day. We all deserve to be happy if we're good people.
