Good point.

…cern because urban voters are going to be an indispensable part of any winning electoral coalition. Rural places are losing population fast while cities are gaining them, which is going to shift the balance of power more and more from the countryside into downtown. Trump may be able to resist that, coming close in 2020 and winning in 2016 with his immense rural strength, but a similar candidate is unlikely to repeat such wonders in the decades to come.
