I asked Google, and it said, "No, walking is generally not considered resistance training; while it does engage muscles and can contribute to some muscle strength, it's primarily classified as a form of aerobic exercise due to its focus on cardiovascular activity rather than significant muscle building." I agree with you about sit-ups.
