I agree with the gist of this. But I must say that I don't participate in "enabling" Democrats because they "make a big scene about how the other side is worse." I vote for them because the other side really is worse. If we can get a Democratic president, House, and Senate, so that promises the Democrats make can be carried out, then it will be time to see if they will carry them out and to be very critical when they don't.
