I agree with you that "A one time distribution of money is stupid beyond absurd." It is also something that will never happen. The article simply points out the amount of wealth there is and what each person would have if it were distributed equally. As for the rest of your comment, please do write it up as an article, explaining each thing you're saying as though you are saying it to someone who has no background in anything financial.
