All I know is I don't want AI-written stories on Medium, many people who are writing are using AI text generators, and some Medium people are using the badge to indicate they're people, not AI text generators. Medium's policy is that you only use AI if you say you are using AI, but who's to know? And many publication on Medium have policies against any use of AI.
