Am I fat? Do these jeans make me look fat? Is menopause making me fat? I’ve been fat since I had the kids. I’ve been fat since my mother died. I got fat when that arsehole started cheating on me. I became fat when my kids didn’t finish what was on their plates. I got fat when food prices went up and everything I could afford was processed. I got fat when the dog died and I stopped walking. I got fat when my Peloton seat broke. Or, maybe I got fat so my Peloton seat would break. I got fat when I went on mood-regulating hormones. I got fat when I stopped eating salads and started Door-Dashing Popeye’s. Whatever the reason, I got fat. Didn’t I? Am I?
