I had quite a bit of trouble understanding some of this but do now better appreciate how much knowledge is necessary to make predictions. Bats, is it? The last thing I read on the subject, many months ago, indicated it might be pangolins. Too bad it's bats; they could be the answer to the question: How are we going to pollinate crops with so many bees dying? Plus, they eat mosquitoes.
