I have a Lifestraw water bottle. Lifestraw is the company providing "straws" to people in such situations as yours--probably just providing them when there's an advertising opportunity. They advertise you could drink water out of your toilet or in any river through a lifestraw. I have the pitcher. I'm not pitching the brand; there are probably competitors just as good.
