I knew about the horses and about the workers, particularly the children who pushed the carts of coal from the mines to its transport elsewhere. But the image of the lump found in the pit pony's chest--the size of it--was horrifying. I'm glad you related the industrial revolution and the possible end of climate change, and because you did I wish Medium had paid a whole lot more attention.
