If I hadn't had a discussion with a vet a decade ago about using ivermectin to treat my rescue dog's awful mange, I wouldn't have known what it's commonly used for. Given the rapaciousness and general lack of humanity among big pharma CEOs, if I hadn't already been aware of ivermectin use in dogs, I might have tried it. There is so much harm being done by capitalism and concomitant lying for profit.
