Interesting article. Now I know what may not work but do not know what will. I've been asked to market a book of poetry, "Tell 'em We're Surfing," which includes some of the finest accessible, narrative poetry I've ever read. The book is now on Amazon (but will soon to be pulled and reissued). I know nothing about marketing except the few articles I've read here and there, so have been looking for a pro. So far, all I've found are large companies offering packages that include tasks I can do, and as a matter of fact have already done, plus a few smaller companies or people on Reedsy who because of the website setup are asked to quote a price without knowing exactly what is needed. The "marketing" that is being offered seems to be mostly posting on social media. Would you know anyone who would contract with me to guide me through the process of successful marketing and do whatever I cannot do?
