It sounds as though you are a well-meaning person who has been busy with things in life other than the news about Donald Trump. So, let me say:

He has been sued and prosecuted literally thousands of times, and a significant number of those cases. I wrote about just a few of them HERE. Check my sources so you'll know I'm not making anything up.

It is true that rich and powerful people are sometimes sued, sometimes by people who have been wronged and sometimes by people just wanting some of that money. But rich and powerful people mostly use money to make many of those cases disappear before we even hear about them.

They also use money to instigate suits against people they've wronged but who don't have enough money to hire high-priced lawyers and fight for their rights.

Nobody is claiming that our justice system is fair. Rich people like Trump hire high-priced lawyers and use the system to delay or avoid justice. Poor people, guilty and innocent, get overworked public defenders and often go to jail.
