My father was in the military, so we moved quite often while I was growing up. My mother always made it into an adventure. In my adult life, I moved quite often, mostly as required for jobs, so I continued in that pattern. So, while it is true that I don't have history with a house, it is also true that moving when I had to was not an ordeal. Just my comment, but perhaps it will help.
