My son had dyslexia, undiagnosed. It was 1968 when he entered first grade and encountered failure for the first time. I was one of those parents struggling with finances. I can attest to the fact that not knowing about this condition and not dealing with it properly has long-term effects. I assume the same is true for dyscalculia. So, thanks for writing about both.
