Oh, You’re Not Voting?
I know you’re dissatisfied, but …
This post is for my friends who are still saying they won’t vote for president this year because they don’t approve of either Donald Trump or Joe Biden. What I hear from these folks is:
- Trump is trying to take away our health care. This is true. The Trump Administration has asked the Supreme Court to strike down the Affordable Care Act. This would wipe out coverage for as many as 23 million Americans. Trump would replace it with … well, nothing other than he says he has a health plan, and he waves a piece of paper around when questioned, but nobody has seen it or heard any details about a real plan. One thing we know for sure: It isn’t Medicare for All.
- Biden is against Medicare for All. This is only partly true, and is misleading.
