Thank you for commenting, Jonathan. Allow me to respond:

I think you're right about people being overworked and that they should not be overworked. I was required to put in 60 hours of work a week at my last job before retiring. It was with IBM. And I took care of a grandchild with behavioral problems during that time. After two years of that, my health was so poor that all I could do was put in 40 hours a week.

The USA was founded not as a republic or as a democracy, but as a democratic republic. It is democratic because at least some of the people vote and is a republic because they only vote for other people whose votes are the ones that count. Nonetheless, organizations throughout the world whose business it is to evaluate systems of government did until recently label the U.S. as democratic. They don't now.

"Democracies are very popular because it gives the illusions of the equal status saying that everybody has a equal voice." You're absolutely right about this. And there are a few actual democracies in the world, where equal status is not an illusion.

"In how they nation is governed in reality it's not true and government policies reflect that." And I think you're right about this, too.
