Thank you for writing this article. I know a man who was emotionally and physically abused by his wife, who also emotionally abused their children. Once, mid way into one of her violent temper tantrums, he escaped and called the police. They came -- and put HIM in jail. He pleaded all night for somebody to go and check to see that the children were safe, and was ignored. So, yes, women do abuse men.
