Thanks for taking the time to comment. I think for writers on Medium, the point is (and maybe also will be) that readers don't want to pay $5 a month to read articles created by an AI text generator. There's no way to ensure that human writers are doing the work, of course, but some assurance of this should keep our readers reading.
