The problem is that what is lacking in these people's lives is more income equality, and the only way to achieve more income equality is to start (again) taxing the rich appropriately. The problem manifests as racism and white supremacy and such, but history tells us that financial difficulties such that the majority of the people in the country are facing do manifest as various horrendous things. Think of Germany.
