This is beautifully written. I have written several times about my dog, Silly Lilly, and I must say I've been proud of what I have written. Several months ago, I also became Mom to Faster Baxter. What I would write about him, if I were writing about him, is similar to this piece. Perhaps I will rise to the challenge to write a story about Baxter that is as sweet and wry as this story.
