This would help, but some billionaires--those who have only one billion dollars--would be penniless. Besides, no confiscation of any amount is ever going to occur. The article was written to point out the huge discrepancy between the wealth of the rich and everybody else, in the hopes that real solutions might be discussed in comments, rather than to urge a confiscation that is never going to occur. From your comment it would seem you are in favor of some confiscation, however, and are just arguing that it come from billionaires only and that the amount be less than what was mentioned in the article. How would you have government go about such a confiscation? How could it be successful?
