Very interesting article that I think Medium should have boosted. But according to their instructions, to get a story boosted, you need to have:

* Title, optional subtitle and image in this order, all before the text

* An image caption indicated its source, with the image either downloaded from a site that offers free images or indication that your use of it is authorized (The is a copyright issue, and not doing this could get you and Medium sued.)
