Wealth, as you say, is not just cash in the bank. Besides, you can't throw a car and a house into a pot. I do know this, but thanks for pointing it out since some readers may not. I considered adding definitions to the article, but there was all that difficult math, and I thought that was enough difficulty. Aside from that, however, please note that I don't suggest acting like Robin Hood or say anything to indicate this would be a good idea. It would be "dictatorial," as you say--again, thanks for pointing this out for those who responded to the article saying this would be a great idea. The articles ends with "Maybe giving the current unfair wealth distribution our attention is the first step toward an eventual fair distribution of wealth." The intent of the article is simply to draw attention to the current unfair wealth distribution.
