If it was up to me, I would just have my remains planted with a small maple tree so the tree would use me for nutrients as it grew. In time I would become part of the tree. In autumn, I would glow with color. In the spring, I would provide sap for maple syrup. I would be a home for birds and squirrels all year long. When the tree is old, I would be cut down for firewood to keep people warm in winter.
