You touch on the impact of fertility rates on population--as I did I yesterday in The Population Explosion … and the Fizzle--but your article also discusses aging as a factor. It's interesting: More old people (each of whom has a zero sperm count) mean fewer babies, and then even fewer babies, and finally no babies.
