You are right about my miscount. Thank you for pointing this out. Oddly, I discovered the mistake before publishing, corrected it, but amid Internet downs due to a storm here it appears the correction didn't take. Also oddly you ,are the only person who has noticed the mistake.

As to my writing my conclusion without regard to the analysis, look at it again, please. Overall, seven to three in favor of Democratic states at both the top and bottom. Education disparity equal according to the stats (though with the number of Black colleges in the South, I expected that). Income disparity at the top 6 to 4 in favor of Democratic states. Unemployment disparity starkly in favor of Democratic states. There are good people even in the most racist states, so I wouldn't expect to see Democrats 50 and Republicans 1. But I did find there were noticeable differences that supported my conclusion. You are the only person so far who has thought the differences were not sufficient to support the conclusion.
