You deserve a million reads for this, and why aren't you writing for the New Yorker. Relating to your bio, yes, much of what you're written here I was aware of--but not all. (I am white but have a Black daughter and at one time, before his death many years ago, a Black husband. Much of what you're written here would apply to said husband.)
