You have thought all this through carefully and have arrived at a decision that would be right for you if you discovered you were pregnant. Good for you. (To answer your question: My own decision about when a collection of cells becomes a "baby" is when survival outside a womb or petrie dish is possible without too much technology involved. Or put another way, when baby can survive in its mother's loving arms.)
