Your points are valid, though I'm not sure whether the correct label is "communism." Label doesn't matter much, however.

I was not recommending using force to take from the rich and give to the poor, though many readers thought that. I was simply pointing out that if the distribution of wealth had been fair, a certain sum would now be in the hands of people who could really use it to make their lives better.
